Sons Of Confederate Veterans--Lawrenceville, Va.

This months meeting will be held on Nov. 19,2008 at the South Brunswick Community Center. Social begins @6:30 p.m. Meeting and meal @7:00p.m. We will have a guest speaker. This is a good time to bring a guest! Lets all focus on increasing our member base!!!

Over 1,100 citizen-soldiers of Brunswick County served in the Confederate army. Most of the men were mustered into these local units:

Coleman's Artillery
Brunswick Blues, Co. I, 20th Virginia Infantry Regiment
Brunswick Grays, Co. G, 21st Virginia Infantry Regiment
Brunswick Guards, Co. A, 5th Virginia Infantry Battalion
Ebenezer Grays, Co. E, 56th Virginia Infantry Regiment
Co. C, 44th Virginia Infantry , Reserves
Co. F and 2nd Co. I, 12th Virginia Infantry Regiment
